This policy explains what Hirecta collects, why, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email or phone number, role (candidate, employer, agency) and region.
- Profile details: job title, skills, experience, location and availability.
- Verification material: identity documents, certificates, employment history, reference details and skill-demonstration videos, submitted with your consent.
- Usage data: chat requests, messages sent through the platform, listings viewed and searches performed.
Why we use it
To operate matching and chat, to verify candidates and employers, to prevent fraud and abuse, to support you, and to meet legal obligations in the region attached to your account.
Consent for documents
Verification documents are uploaded only after you confirm consent. You may withdraw consent and request deletion of submitted documents at any time.
Who can see what
- Candidate documents, identity papers, certificates and skill videos are private. They are visible only to you and to our verification reviewers.
- Employers never see contact details from a candidate profile. Contact happens through in-app chat after a candidate accepts a chat request.
- Agency-managed candidate profiles are published only with the candidate's recorded consent.
- Only employer job listings are public and indexable by search engines.
Retention
Verification documents that are unverified or rejected are automatically deleted 90 days after submission. Chat history is retained while your account is active so both sides keep a record of the conversation. Closing your account removes your public profile; limited records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal compliance.
Processors
We use third-party services for hosting, database and file storage, document parsing, messaging and payment processing. Processors receive only the data needed for their task and are bound by contract to protect it.
Your choices
You can review and update your profile, control availability, withdraw document consent, block a conversation, and request account deletion. To exercise a request, use the Contact page.
Security
Access to verification material is restricted to authorised reviewers, documents are stored in private storage, and access rules are enforced at the database level. No system is perfectly secure; please tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
Children
Hirecta is not intended for anyone below the minimum legal working age in their region.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
